Trust & safety

Trust on a marketplace is not a badge, it is a set of checks that either happened or did not. Here is exactly what each one means on NADO, and what it does not mean.

Verification

• Identity verified — we have checked an official photo ID against the account holder.
• Business verified — we have confirmed the company exists in the Swiss commercial register and that the account holder is connected to it.
• Address verified — we have confirmed the business address given on the profile.
• Qualification verified — we have seen the certificate or diploma named on the profile and checked it against the issuing body where one can be reached.
• Register verified — for regulated professions, we have found the person in the relevant federal or cantonal register, such as MedReg for doctors or PsyReg for psychologists.

A verification badge says a specific document was checked. It is not a quality rating, an endorsement, or a guarantee of the work. Badges are removed if a document expires and is not renewed.

Reviews

Only customers can review professionals, and a review can never be deleted by the professional it is about. Reviews attached to a completed booking or job on the platform are marked as verified transactions — you can filter for those. Professionals may reply once to any review.

We remove reviews that contain personal data, abuse, or that we can show were bought or coordinated. We do not remove reviews for being negative.

Reporting

Every profile, review and message can be reported. Reports go to a moderation queue staffed by our operations team, not to an automated system. If you are reporting something urgent involving safety, contact the police first on 117.

Money

Payment currently happens directly between you and the professional. NADO does not hold your money, so never send a deposit to anyone who contacts you outside the platform claiming to be us.
